Man Charged with Stalking Ex-Girlfriend

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stalking his ex-girlfriend.

Police said they arrested James Wayne Ernst on Sunday evening after they developed probable cause and conducted an investigation into him allegedly stalking the woman. A police report stated that Ernst sent several people numerous text messages threatening the woman's life and that the suspect was aggressively trying to locate the victim.

Ernst is charged with felony stalking.
