Memorial Service at Fort Carson for Soldier Killed in Afghanistan 

(FT. CARSON, Colo.) -- A memorial service for a Fort Carson-based soldier from California killed in Afghanistan is being held by the Army on Friday, ABC affiliate KRDO reports.

The service is for 23-year-old Spc. Tofiga J. Tautolo of Wilmington, Calif., who died May 27 from injuries sustained after his vehicle hit an improvised bomb. Tautolo was a member of the 4th Infantry Division's 4th Brigade Combat Team at Fort Carson. He was deployed twice to Afghanistan and twice to Iraq.

The service will take place at Fort Carson at 1:30 p.m.
