Police Arrest Man in Connection with 13 Robberies

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- Police have arrested a man in connection to 13 robberies, ABC affiliate KRDO reports.

Dwight Davis, 51, has been identified as the suspect in a string of robberies across the city, in which he used a rock, flammable liquid or a handgun. Police responded to a burglary in progress at 1400 Alvarado Drive on Monday, when Davis was spotted and taken into custody.

A warrant for Davis' arrest had already been issued in connection with a robbery and attempted robbery. He had been suspected in several other robberies that spanned five weeks.
