Police: Trigger-Happy Drunk Wakes Up Neighbors with Gunshots

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- An intoxicated man was arrested on Wednesday after shots rang out in one Colorado Springs neighborhood, police said.
Around 1:30 a.m. police responded to the 1200 block of DeReamer Circle following multiple reports of shots fired in the area. Investigating officers then went to a residence where they said they found an intoxicated Keith Jackson, 27, and 11 shell casings from two different caliber weapons in his backyard.
Although he denied firing any weapons, Jackson was taken into custody and three weapons were confiscated.
Jackson is charged with prohibited use of weapons.
