Three Injured in Car Crash

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) -- On Wednesday night, a pickup truck crashed into a minivan carrying a family of three, ABC affiliate KRDO-TV reports.
The crash occurred on Murray Boulevard between Pikes Peak Avenue and Platte Avenue around 6 p.m. According to Colorado Springs police, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle due to the wet street and rammed into the minivan that was in the opposite lane.
On impact, one of the two children in the minivan went through the window and on to the sidewalk a short distance away, report police and a witness.
The victims were taken to Memorial Hospital and are recovering from injuries that are not serious.
