Air India to Pick Up First South Carolina-Made 787 Next Week

(ISLE OF PALMS, S.C.) -- Boeing South Carolina said Wendesday that Air India will pick up the first South Carolina-made 787 next week sometime, the Post and Courier reports.
Air India has already picked up two 787 Dreamliners from Boeing's campus in North Charleston, including one Tuesday afternoon, but those planes were manufactured in Everett, Wash.
The airline will determine the exact timing of the delivery.
