Coastal Agencies Return Back to Work

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) -- On Thursday, forty state employees from the South Carolina Arts Commission and the Sea Grant Consortium returned back to work after lawmakers overturned Governor Nikki Haley’s veto of the agencies, according to The State.

The workers of those agencies will not receive a pay for the eight days of work they missed.

The two state agencies would like to work directly with lawmakers within their agencies to avoid future vetoes in the future.
