Human Bones Allegedly Found in Underwater Car

(DALLAS) -- The Dallas Police Department says it found a car with suspected human bones inside it underwater in Lake Ray Hubbard Tuesday morning.

Authorities say a boater called police when he ran into an unknown object in the lake and was unsure of what it was. Officers say they found a car with bones believed to be from a human during a subsequent search.

No other details have been released as the case remains under investigation.

Police Look for Third Suspect in DART Shooting  

(DALLAS) -- A third suspect may be linked to a Tuesday night shooting at DART’s Park Lane train station, police report.

Two suspects were taken into custody Tuesday after a person was shot in the leg, according to ABC News Dallas affiliate WFAA-TV, but a third suspect may be at large.

The victim was released from Baylor University Medical Center early Wednesday morning.

It is undetermined what sparked the shooting.

The train service was temporarily suspended following the incident but resumed service Wednesday morning.

Tractor Trailer Overturns on I-35

(DALLAS) -- A tractor trailer overturned in Dallas early Wednesday morning, causing delays for some rush hour commuters.

Officials say the accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the northbound side of Inrterstate 35 in the vicinity of Colorado Boulevard. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while taking a curve, according to the Dallas News, resulting in the truck rolling over and spilling some fuel. Hazmart crews were called to the scene to clean up the spill.

No injuries were reported.

Dallas Man Charged with Murdering Two Sons

(DALLAS) -- Police have charged a Dallas man with murder after his two children were found dead Monday afternoon.

Naim Rasool Mohammed, 32, is alleged to have taken his children from their mother around 8:30 a.m. and then drowned them in a nearby river. Police say the boys -- aged 3 and 5 -- were found unresponsive in a vehicle near Singing Hills Drive and East Ledbetter just after 1 p.m.

According to investigators, Mohammed took the children from their mother by force, assaulting her in the process. He was arrested by police in the 6200 block of Harmony Lane a short time after the children were found.

Mohammed was arraigned on capital murder charges Monday night and remains in police custody on $2 million bond.

Police Shoot and Kill Robbery Suspect

(FORT WORTH, Texas) -- On Tuesday, a bank robbery suspect was shot and killed by a police officer.

According to ABC News affiliate WFAA-TV, officials are investigating the 9:15 a.m. incident in which police chased a car allegedly carrying two people who are believed to have robbed the Woodhaven National Bank in the 6700 block of Bridge Street on Tuesday morning.

The suspects stopped at a mobile home park near Martin Street and Lake Arlington Road and ran. Officers gave chase shooting one of the suspects.

The name of the dead suspect has not been released, and police have not released information on the second suspect.
