At least five shots were fired before the gunman fled in the SUV. Police told the <em>Morning News</em> that the victim was sitting in the passenger seat and his wife was in the driver's seat at the time of the shooting.</p>

Breaux was apparently attempting to cross where there was no crosswalk.</p>

<p>Stanley A. Wilson, 51, was one of several firefighters to respond to a structure fire at the Hearthwood North Condominiums, located at 12363 Abrams Road in northeast Dallas.</p>
<p>The fire quickly spread throughout the three-story building, and firefighters were forced to combat the fire defensively.</p>
<p>Firefighters rescued at least six people while fighting the blaze, including a young boy who had been trapped underneath debris.</p>
<p>When the fire reached a four alarm stage, radio traffic indicated that Wilson was trapped inside the burning structure. Two more alarms were soon sounded, and after hours of searching and combating the fire, firefighters recovered Wilson&rsquo;s body from wreckage.</p>
<p>Wilson, a 28-year veteran of Dallas Fire-Rescue, was given an honor line and was draped in an American flag when taken to the hospital. He is survived by a wife and two sons.</p>
<p>Two residents and two other firefighters suffered smoke inhalation injuries, but none of them were life-threatening.</p>
<p>Officials are investigating the cause of the fire and Wilson&rsquo;s death.</p>

<p>The victim, a 45-year-old man whose name will not be released until his next of kin have been notified, was visiting a friend at 9000 Emberglow Lane. Around 10:30 p.m., he heard someone driving off in his vehicle. As he started to chase after his stolen car, he was shot by an unknown suspect.</p>
<p>The man was transported to Baylor Hospital and pronounced deceased.</p>
<p>His stolen car is described as a silver BMW coupe. Officers do not know what the license plate was.</p>
<p>Homicide detectives are investigating the case, classified at this time as a capital murder offense.</p>

Officers shot Darden with a stun gun, but after he was detained, he began to suffer from an unknown medical issue.</p>
<p>Darden was taken to a nearby hospital where he died just after 5 p.m., says the <em>Morning News</em>.<br /><br />Authorities are currently investigating the incident. He is also alleged to have injured Aguilar's date, Francisco Delacruz, on February 16 in Rockwall County. <br /><br />After the alleged shooting incident, Lewis led police on a chase through three counties, according to the <em>Morning News</em>. Lewis was wounded in the chase when he pointed a gun at officers. <br /><br />Lewis was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. <p>According to robbery detectives, the suspect entered the EZ Money Loan store, located at 9310 Forest Lane just after 11 a.m. Wielding a black semi-automatic handgun, the suspect demanded the clerk give him money. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled the location on foot, last seen behind the shopping center.</p>
<p>The suspect is described as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 190 and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jean, a black t-shirt and a gold and black Pittsburgh Pirates baseball hat.</p>
<p>Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Dallas Police Department&rsquo;s Robbery Unit at (214) 671-3584.</p>

<p>Jose Plascencia, 23, plead guilty to the August 25 fatal stabbing of Robert Bradley, 52. He was given a 10-year prison sentence.</p>
<p>Plascencia was one of five people, including two juveniles, who were arrested in connection with a string of robberies and assaults that night. The two other arrested adults plead guilty to other crimes committed during the spree. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Eduardo Luis Mendez, 24, pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and Roman Vela, 19, pleaded guilty to a burglary of a vehicle.</p>

<p>Police received a call from an out-of-state man who said he had heard a disturbance while on the phone with the victim, Isabel Kristina Lopez. Officers responded shortly after 7 p.m. to the home at 801 Beckleymeade Avenue.</p>
<p>Officers found Isabel Lopez&rsquo;s body lying on the bedroom floor.</p>
<p>Officers confronted Lopez&rsquo;s son, 25-year-old Gonzalo Roberto Lopez. Police say that Gonzalo Lopez &ldquo;made a sudden, voluntary statement: &lsquo;I choked my mom.&rsquo;&rdquo;</p>
<p>He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for questioning, and later taken to the Dallas County jail to be charged with murder. He is being held on a $750,000 bond.</p>
