Cops: Man Killed in Crash After Driver Runs Red Light

(DALLAS) -- A man is dead and a woman injured following a two-vehicle crash in Dallas on Wednesday night.

The crash happened shortly before midnight in the area of Corinth at Ervay streets, as police say a pickup truck ran a red light and collided with a car, killing the driver of the car and injuring a woman who was a passenger in the car. There was also an infant in a car seat in the car, but reports did not indicate that the child had been hurt in the crash.

The driver of the pickup truck has been arrested and faces charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault, according to published reports.
