Dallas Man Arrested Second Time after Gay Marriage Protest

(DALLAS) -- A man was arrested for a second time on Thursday after staging a sit-in with his same-sex partner for being denied a marriage license, ABC affiliate WFAA-TV reports.

Mark "Major" Jiminez and his partner Beau Chandler went to the Crowley Courts Building to apply for a marriage license Thursday and staged a sit-in after they were denied. Police arrested Jiminez at the end of the day.

Jiminez and Chandler were both arrested in early July after handcuffing themselves together in the Dallas County Clerk Records Building. Their initial hearing from the July incident was on Thursday. They went to the marriage counter after leaving the hearing.
