Dallas Ranks No. 8 Among Nation's Most Gay-Friendly Cities

(DALLAS) -- A report by real estate website Trulia shows that Dallas ranks No. 8 among the country's most gay-friendly cities, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Trulia used Census data to identify zip codes with the heaviest concentration of same-sex households. In 2010, the Census reported roughly 646,000 same-sex household, or 0.6 percent, of the nation's 117 million households. Trulia said the data needed some adjustments, since the agency does not inquire about sexual orientation.

San Francisco came in at No. 1 on the list, followed by New York and Los Angeles.
