Helicopter Crashes in Ellis County

(AVALON, Texas) -- On Tuesday morning, a helicopter crashed north of Avalon by Highway 34 in Ellis County, reports ABC affiliate WFAA-TV.

A malfunction led to the crash, which happened around 8:45 a.m. Two pilots were on board for a training and maintenance flight.

No injuries were reported.
