Man Shot and Killed in Dallas Restaurant Parking Lot

(DALLAS) -- A shooting in the parking lot of a Dallas restaurant on Sunday night has left one person dead.

The shooting happened outside the Taco Bell-Pizza Hut restaurant located in the area of Lemmon Avenue and Washington Street just before 7 p.m., according to published reports. A man, identified by the Dallas News as Marcos Sanchez, 21, was shot while in a car in the parking lot, with the shooter then fleeing. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The newspaper reports that Dyani Brown, 29, has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
