Man Stabs Estranged Wife at Denny's Restaurant

(IRVING, Texas) -- Police said a man stabbed his estranged wife as she was working at Denny's Restaurant early Tuesday morning, ABC affiliate WFAA-TV reports.

The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. at the restaurant located in the 4000 block of West Airport Freeway. Witnesses told police that 54-year-old Thomas Parker entered, pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman multiple times. The 61-year-old victim is reportedly in serious but stable condition at North Texas Hospital.

Parker was arrested and booked into Irving Jail on one count of Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury.
