Nanny Convicted of 2006 Murder Granted New Trial

(MCKINNEY, Texas) -- A nanny convicted of the 2006 murder of a child in her care will return to court on Monday morning to be re-tried, ABC affiliate WFAA-TV reports.

Ada Cuadros was found guilty in 2006 of killing 14-month-old Kyle Lazarchik and sentenced to life in prison. Cuadros said the death was an accident.

The 5th District Court of Appeals determined there was enough evidence for a new trial.
