Crash Involving Three Semi Trucks Shuts Down I-80

(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- Part of Interstate 80 near Newtown was shut down on Wednesday morning due to a vehicular crash.

The crash happened on the westbound side of the roadway, and officials say it involved three semi trucks. It's unknown if there were any injuries.

The roadway in the immediate area of the crash was shut down for part of the morning, with the investigation into the crash continuing.
