EPA Gives Improvement Assistance to Des Moines

(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has chosen Des Moines to be part of the “Greening America’s Capitals Program,” ABC affiliate WOI-TV reports.

Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie is excited to welcome architects, engineers and landscape architects to help beautify the city and improve the overall landscape.

The timeline of the project has yet to be determined.
