First Major Winter Storm Causes Accidents, Delays Across Midwest

(CHICAGO) -- The first major snowstorm of the season is causing accidents and delays across the Midwest.

The storm has tracked from Iowa on Wednesday through Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan on Thursday.

More than 425 flights out of Chicago airports have been cancelled due to the storm.

St. Louis, which is being hard-hit by the storm, has seen dozens of accidents, according to reports. In Iowa at least two people have died because of the weather.

Most areas can expect between four and six inches of snow. The storm is tracking towards New England on Thursday night and into Friday.
