Husband Charged in Murder of Pregnant Reserve Sheriff's Deputy

(AGENCY, Iowa) -- Authorities have arrested a suspect in the shooting death Wappello County reserve sheriff’s deputy Lisa Techel -- the suspect is her husband.

Seth Techel, 21, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with first-degree murder and nonconsensual termination of a human pregnancy in the death of his 23-year-old wife, who was five months pregnant at the time.

Lisa Techel was found shot to death on Saturday at her home in Agency.
