Iowa Unemployment Rate Rises to 5.2 Percent

(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- Iowa’s unemployment rate rose to 5.2 percent in June from 5.1 percent in May, according to The Des Moines Register.

The state ended 2,400 jobs, especially from education workers.

Although unemployment is up, Iowa is currently rated the seventh lowest unemployment rate in the nation.
