(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- A Des Moines father accused of sexually abusing three of his nine children pleaded not guilty to all 11 charges against him Tuesday morning, The Des Moines Register reports.
James Julius Beaudrie, 36, faces charges of nine counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of multiple acts of child endangerment. All of the charges apply to incidents that police believe occurred since the family moved to the Polk County area in October 2011. Beaudrie, his wife, 35-year-old Kijua Lynn Beaudrie, and their children reportedly alternated living in the GameSip store that Beaudrie ran and hotels. Beaudrie initially fled Iowa but was caught at his mother's Chicago residence by U.S. Marshals, the paper says.
Kijua Beaudrie is charged with three counts of child neglect. She is being held at the Polk County Jail on a $30,000 bond. James Beaudrie's bond is set at $200,000.
The four girls and five boys are now living in shelters and with foster families, according to the Register.
Beaudrie's next scheduled court appearance is July 5.
