Man Dies After Being Pinned Under Tractor Northeast of Kingsley

(KINGSLEY, Iowa) -- A man who was found pinned underwater Tuesday under a farm tractor northeast of Kingsley has been identified, according to published reports.

David Alan Klingensmith, 48, of Pierson, was found submerged in the river after reports indicated he went off into the water about 10:20 p.m. in the 2800 block of Tamarack Avenue.

Plymouth County Medical Examiner determined that Klingensmith died from drowning.

The incident is under the investigation of the Iowa State Patrol.
