Tama County Officials Investigate Cemetery Vandalism

(TAMA COUNTY, Iowa) --Officials in Tama County are investigating after head stones at a Dysart cemetery were vandalized, The Des Moines Register reports.

The Tama County Sheriff's Office reportedly said the vandals broke some stones and tipped over at least 15 grave markers.  The vandalism reportedly occurred in late August and early September, but was reported to police on Sept. 15 when the damage was discovered.

Family members are offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
