Governor's Office to Tour Michigan Communities
(LANSING, Mich.) -- Residents all across Michigan will soon have a chance to express their concerns to Governor Rick Snyder, when starting Monday the Governor's Office of Constituent Services will begin a tour of the state to meet with residents.
Representatives from the Governor's Office of Constituent Services are scheduled to visit over 60 locations across the state to hold face-to-face meetings with community members. The initiative, which will run through mid-July, will allow residents to have their questions and concerns addressed, and will also give them the opportunity to offer suggestions on issues affecting citizens, communities and businesses.
"I want to hear directly from those in communities across Michigan," Snyder said in a statement. "Our citizens are my top priority. We continue to listen to many ideas and suggestions and this is another way to make government as accessible as possible."
