Man Gets Prison Time for Setting Multiple Wildfires

(LANSING, Mich.) -- A Houghton Lake man has been sentenced to a year in prison for intentionally setting multiple fires on three separate dates.

According to a news release by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Howard LeRoy, 71, was sentenced to prison, 24 months probation, $648 in fines and costs along with $13,000 in restitution.

LeRoy was given the sentenced after pleading guilty in February to two counts of felony arson.
