Michigan to Receive New Director for Natural Resources Department 

(LANSING, Mich.) -- Governor Rick Snyder announced Monday that Keith Creagh would be filling a vacancy as Director at the Department of Natural Resources, the Grand Rapids Press reports. Creagh was previously the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

"He has a strong understanding of Michigan's conservation, economic and environmental needs, vast experience and ability to bring people together, and a love of our state's great outdoors that will make for a seamless transition,” Governor Synder said of Creagh.

Upon receiving the news, Creagh said in a statement, “I will strive to uphold the departments great standard of excellence and build upon its past successes.”
