Her first report, which will air on Monday, October 11, will look at kids and tattoos- - the dangers and the alternatives, as well as how parents should handle kids who come to them begging for one. Hasselbeck will also look at the growing trend of parents and kids getting tattoos together.
“I am thrilled to join the Good Morning America team, and I am thankful for this opportunity to raise awareness and explore the most important issues facing parents and children,” said Hasselbeck.

“Elisabeth brings a very distinctive style and unique perspective that fits well with the broadcast,” said Good Morning America Executive Producer Jim Murphy.

Hasselbeck joined ABC’s The View as co-host in November 2003. In May 2009, the show's hosts were chosen as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” by Time. In July 2009, Forbes ranked The View number 11 among “30 of the Most Influential Women in Media."

Hasselbeck is the author of the New York Times best seller, The G-Free Diet, and a designer of a women’s apparel line for QVC called Elisabeth Hasselbeck for Dialogue.  She previously was host of the Style Network's The Look for Less, where she helped viewers find designer styles at bargain prices.
