"22 Jump Street" Tops "How to Train Your Dragon 2" at Box Office

Sony / Columbia(NEW YORK) -- A pair of newly-released sequels took the top two spots at the box office this weekend, with 22 Jump Street and How to Train Your Dragon 2 winning the weekend.

Last week's number one, The Fault in our Stars, fell all the way to fifth place in the box office.

After investigating a drug infiltration into high school in 21 Jump Street, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill graduate to an investigation at a college in the sequel.

Here are the top 10 movies from Friday through Sunday, with estimated ticket sales, according to Box Office Mojo:

1. 22 Jump Street: $60 million
2. How to Train Your Dragon 2: $50 million
3. Maleficent: $19.008 million
4. Edge of Tomorrow: $16.175 million
5. The Fault in our Stars: $15.725 million
6. X-Men: Days of Future Past: $9.5 million
7. Godzilla (2014): $3.155 million
8. A Million Ways to Die in the West: $3.077 million
9. Neighbors: $2.484 million
10. Chef: $2.276 million
