Rihanna Unveils New Album Cover

Photo Courtesy - RihannaNow.com/ Def Jam RecordingsSinger Rihanna had some fun with fans on Tuesday, revealing the cover of her new album, Loud, bit by bit online.  She started out by tweeting, "Here's a little taste of LOUD. Meet me at my Facebook page for more."  The Twitpic was a close-up of the upper right side of her face, but when fans clicked on her Facebook page, they saw the lower left side of her face.  Finally, Rihanna posted the full album cover image on her official website, revealing the full picture.  The cover is a close-up of her face, with eyes closed, lips in full pout, flaming red hair and just a hint of her new "Rebelle fleur" neck tattoo.  Loud will be in stores in November.  The first single, "Only Girl (In the World)," has already topped Billboard's digital sales chart.

Joaquin Phoenix "Wanted Out" of Mockumentary

Photo Courtesy - Magnolia Pictures(GLENDALE, Calif.) -- Oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix tells Extra there were times he "wanted out" of the mockumentary I'm Still Here. The star raised more than a few eyebrows with the project, in which he purported to have quit acting to pursue a rap career.  Phoenix tells Extra, "At some point, it became such a public spectacle...To be frank, we were kind of hostage to the process. There were times...where I wanted out. Even on a conventional film I'm done after four months. But this went on and on."  I'm Still Here is directed by Casey Affleck.

The phony career switch included disastrous performances and a now-infamous interview on The Late Show with David Letterman, in which a bearded Phoenix mumbled his way through an almost incoherent chat segment.  Phoenix appeared on Letterman's show last week to discuss his earlier appearance.  He tells Extra he wanted to reveal the documentary as a hoax on Late Show to prove "I wasn't on the show to make a fool of him." Says Phoenix, "In this film, I think the only person who comes off as a real jerk is me."

New Glee Album Coming October 19th

Photo Courtesy - 20th Century FoxThe latest installment in the Glee album series will hit stores Oct. 19, and it's a themed collection.  The album, called The Rocky Horror Glee Show, collects the music that will be featured in the Oct. 26 episode devoted to the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.  The movie, starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Meat Loaf and Barry Bostwick, hasn't left theaters since its release 35 years ago this month.

It is not yet known which characters on the show will be singing the particular Rocky Horror songs, but it wouldn't be surprising if Jayma Mays' character, Emma, sang "Touch-A Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me," since she actually auditioned for Glee with that song.   Star Matthew Morrison is also pretty familiar with the score, considering he appeared in the stage version on Broadway.

Here's the track listing of The Rocky Horror Glee Show:

1. "Science Fiction Double Feature"
2. "Damn It, Janet"
3. "Whatever Happened to Saturday Night?"
4. "Sweet Transvestite"
5. "Touch-A Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me"
6. "There’s a Light (Over at the Frankenstein Place)"
7. "Time Warp"

Spears also appeared for a split second as a teacher in another sequence where Lea Michele's character, Rachel, recreated the video for "...Baby One More Time," and again in a scene dressed as as Cheerio, scolding Tina for breaking up with Artie.  The episode featured performances of Spears' hits "I’m a Slave 4 U," "Me Against the Music," "...Baby One More Time" and "Stronger," as well as Paramore's "The Only Exception."
