Lady Gaga Remix Premieres Online

Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Get ready for a nice clean version of Lady Gaga's new Born This Way remix, which debuted Wednesday in Paris at Thierry Mugler's men's fashion show.  The song has been used as the soundtrack of a new short film that can now be viewed exclusively at Mugler.com and StyleList.com.  It was created under the auspices of Nicola Formichetti, Mugler's creative director and Gaga's personal stylist.   The black-and-white, slightly disturbing film features a model named Rick Genest, who is tattooed from head to toe look like a zombie skeleton...or is it a skeleton zombie?

As far as the song, it starts with Gaga saying, "I don't speak German but I can if you'd like."  Then, she sing-song chants in German over a heavy electronic dance beat, but at various points, her actual singing voice comes through loud and clear.

Sandra Bullock's Ex Now Engaged to Tattoo Artist Kat Von D

Photo Courtesy - Jordan Strauss/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Jesse James, Sandra Bullock's former husband, is now engaged to tattoo artist Kat Von D, People magazine reports.

In a statement to People, James says, "You know, sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs." James adds, "I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said 'yes.' Growing old with her is going to be a bleepin' blast!"

James and Von D have been dating since last summer -- his divorce from Bullock was finalized last June.  Their marriage initially collapsed when it came to light in March of 2010 that James had cheated on Bullock with several women.  He issued a statement of apology to Bullock, and entered rehab March 30 to "save his marriage."  She filed for divorce in April.

Steven Tyler Upstages Jennifer Lopez on 'American Idol' Premiere

Photo Courtesy - Frederick M. Brown/ Getty Images(EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.) -- Randy Jackson took Simon Cowell's seat at the judges' table, alongside freshman judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, for the 10th season of American Idol, but it was clear that not one of them was out to replace the so-called "mean" judge.

After months of speculation about who would replace Cowell and fellow judges Ellen DeGeneres and Kara Dioguardi, who left at the end of last season, the new judges made their debut in an opening worthy of the American Idol finale.

Following a montage of headlines, host Ryan Seacrest made the announcements on the main stage of the show before hundreds of screaming fans.

"I took this gig because I love music," Tyler said in the opening minutes of Wednesday night's premiere.

"I think I'm going to be compassionate," Lopez said.  "I'm not in the business of crushing spirits."

"It's a different table," Jackson said, "but you know what?  It's hot.  Let's go baby."

As Jackson led the way, showing a more powerful role than before, during opening auditions in New Jersey, it at first appeared that Tyler and Lopez were competing for who could be nicer.  But it was Lopez, who, reminiscent of Paula Abdul, had a hard time saying no and seemed to hold back her harshest criticism.

Tyler, on the other hand, had plenty of them, punctuating the auditions with his signature scream and sometimes singing and tapping along with the contestants.

In the end, the judges gave golden tickets to 51 contestants to proceed to the next round.  But it was the last contestant who brought back the show's main mission -- to find the next superstar.

After sharing his heart-tugging story of spending part of his childhood in a homeless shelter in the Bronx, 16-year-old Travis Orlando performed for the judges.

"I think you sing beautiful," Tyler told him, with the judges giving him a unanimous "yes."

Britney Spears Debuts on Top with New Single; Sets Records

Photo Courtesy - Jive Records(NEW YORK) -- As expected, Britney Spears blasted into the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new single, "Hold It Against Me."

It became just the 18th song to debut at number one on that chart since it was created 52 years ago.  Spears also became only the second artist in history to have more than one of her singles debut at number one -- the other is Mariah Carey, who did it three times.  Spears did it twice, with this new single and with "3" in 2009.

"Hold It Against Me" is Spears' fourth chart-topper overall, joining "...Baby One More Time" and "Womanizer."

Moreover, the single sold 411,000 copies in a single week, according to Nielsen Soundscan, making it the highest first-week sales for a single by a lead female artist.  The previous record was 325,000 set by Taylor Swift's "Today Was a Fairytale" last February.

Brad Paisley Launches Summer-Themed 'H2O Frozen Over' Tour

Photo Courtesy - Arista Nashville(GREEN BAY, Wis.) -- Brad Paisley launches his H2O Frozen Over tour Thursday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Even though the temperatures will be below freezing in many of the cities on his trek, Paisley is keeping some elements from his summer-themed H2O tour in place for this new run.  In keeping with that theme, the singer is asking his fans to dress appropriately underneath their coats when they come to the shows.

"You should be wearing shorts and a tank top if that's what you do in the summertime," Paisley told ABC News Radio.  "Just bring a coat so that you can get into the building.  And once you get in there, we're going to pretend that it isn't five degrees."

Paisley is bringing Darius Rucker and Jerrod Niemann along as his opening acts this time around.

Lady Gaga Premieres 'Born This Way' Remix at Paris Fashion Show

Photo Courtesy - Kevin Winter | Getty Images(PARIS, France) -- On Wednesday, Lady Gaga premiered a remix of the title track of her upcoming album Born This Way in Paris, at a Thierry Mugler men's fashion show.  A poor-quality video of the event was tweeted by someone associated with Gaga's creative team, Haus of Gaga.   Billboard reports that Gaga herself was not at the fashion show.

A good-quality version of the track will premiere Thursday at noon ET at Stylist.com and at Mugler.com.  It'll be soundtracking a short film created by Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti, who is also one of Gaga's stylists.

Katy Perry Announces Tour; Will Take 90-Yr-Old 'Grammy' to Grammys

Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(PALO ALTO, Calif.) -- Katy Perry appeared live at Facebook headquarters on Wednesday to announce the North American leg of her California Dreams tour, which begins in Europe next month.  The new leg kicks off June 7 in Atlanta, Ga. and wraps up Aug. 14 with a two-night stand in her hometown of Santa Barbara, Calif.  The tour, sponsored by Schick Quattro for Women, will feature two opening acts: British act Marina & The Diamonds and Swedish pop star Robyn.

The big twist for the tour is that it'll incorporate social media to be super-interactive.   Fans arriving at each show can use Facebook's  Facebook/Places tool to "check in" and receive special goodies.  Katy's the first artist ever to use Facebook/Places for something like this. Fans' tweets and photos will also be incorporated into the live show, and Katy hinted that it may be that during the show, the fan with the best tweet of the night might be invited to join her onstage.  A ticket pre-sale begins this Friday.

As for the look of the tour, Katy says it's inspired by two separate artists, one who constantly paints candy and cake, and another one who creates pieces based around meat.  Katy says the tour's sets will be "a meat and candy smorgasbord."  The costumes will be designed by Todd Thomas, who designs for Victoria's Secret.

Katy also revealed that when she attends the Grammys next month, her special date will be her very own Grammy -- her 90-year-old grandmother, Ann Hudson.  She says, "If I don't go home with a Grammy, I'll still have my Grammy!"
