Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band Announce 2011 Joint Stadium Shows

Photo Courtesy - BNA Records(NEW YORK) -- Kenny Chesney has announced nine stadium shows for his 2011 Goin' Coastal tour.  Zac Brown Band will co-headline with Chesney for these dates starting March 19 in Tampa, Florida.

Tickets for certain dates start going on sale Nov. 20th.  More arena and amphitheater dates will be announced soon.  Billy Currington is also on the bill for these shows.

In an effort to keep tickets affordable for fans, Chesney is pricing at least 7,000 tickets at $25 each for most of the stadium shows.

Planning for such a massive show doesn't just happen overnight. Chesney says, "To present it the way we do it when we go out on tour, you can't just make that up in January and then decide to go do it." The singer already knows what his stage will look like and what images he'll display on the massive video screens during his songs.

Chesney admits that he's getting more and more anxious as the new tour approaches, but he's ready to get back into life on the road. "It is a little bit of the same kind of grind," he says, "but it's a grind that I want now."

Brad Paisley to Debut New Song on CMA Awards

Photo Courtesy - Arista Nashville(NEW YORK) -- Brad Paisley has been in the studio working on his next album while also getting ready to host the CMA Awards on ABC next Wednesday with Carrie Underwood.  Even though his latest single, "Anything Like Me," is still climbing the chart, Paisley tells ABC News Radio he's decided to debut a brand-new song from the upcoming album at the awards show.

It's called "This Is Country Music," and Paisley really wants his fans to hear the song now. He says, "I wanna sing something new. I think it's time."

When he's working on a new project, Paisley says he usually grabs a buddy and plays the new songs for them in his car. With "This Is Country Music," he says, "I'm essentially going to do that on the CMA Awards for 30-something million people, which is really fun."

No word yet on when Paisley might release his next studio album, but his new Hits Alive double album just came out this week.  It features live and studio versions of his biggest hits, along with "Anything Like Me."

'Forbes' Declares Will Ferrell Most Overpaid Star in Hollywood

(NEW YORK) -- Will Ferrell is a popular comedic actor, but a new list by Forbes magazine ranks the former Saturday Night Live cast member-turned-film star as the most overpaid actor in the world, for the second straight year.

The magazine say Ferrell’s movies earned only $3.35 for each $1 the star was paid.  In comparison, Shia LaBeouf's films earned $81 for every dollar he was paid, making him the star who gets the most box office bang for his buck.

In determining the ranking, Forbes examined the three most recent movies of each actor on its Celebrity 100 list.  Ferrell’s last three films were Land of the Lost, Step Brothers and Semi-Pro.  The magazine totaled box office, DVD and television revenue for a star's three films, and examined production budgets to come up with an operating income that was then compared to an actor's compensation.

Here’s the Forbes list of Hollywood’s 10 Most Overpaid Actors for 2010, along with the films' earnings for every dollar the star was paid:

1. Will Ferrell, $3.35/$1
2. Eddie Murphy, $4.45/$1
3. Denzel Washington, $5.10/$1
4. Seth Rogan, $6.75/$1
5. Tom Cruise, $7.20/$1
6. Drew Barrymore, $7.45/$1
7. Matt Damon $8.30/$1
8. Vince Vaughn $8.35/$1
9. Adam Sandler $8.45/$1
10. Jim Carrey $8.60/$1

R.E.M.'s New Album Features Eddie Vedder, Patti Smith

Photo Courtesy - Warner Bros. Records(NEW YORK) -- The new album from R.E.M., titled Collapse into Now, will feature vocal performances from artists including Peaches, Patti Smith and Eddie Vedder.

In an interview with Spin magazine, multi-instrumentalist Mike Mills says that Vedder will sing on a song called "It Happened Today," while Smith will sing two songs -- "All The Best" and the album's closer, "Blue."  As for Peaches, her song has no title yet, but Mills reveals the word "alligator" is in the title.

As for what the album, R.E.M.'s 15th, will sound like, Mills says it will be "more expansive.  We wanted to put more variety into it and not limit ourselves to any one type of song."

He adds that singer Michael Stipe wrote lyrics that are "very personal.  Not only to [him], but personal and human in the sense of the narrative of the songs, the protagonists of the songs."

Collapse into Now is expected to be released in early 2011.

Aerosmith Drummer Says Band Will Release "Old-School" Album

Photo Courtesy - Aerosmith [dot] com(NEW YORK) -- Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer says the band's next effort will be an "old-school Aerosmith record."

Kramer elaborated to Spinner, saying "We're going to do it the old way with the whole band [in the same room] and it should be a good one."  He went on to say that the band has hopes of releasing the new album in 2011 and that they're "anxious to get back in the studio and do a record."

No doubt that recording schedule will depend a lot on Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler's new gig as a judge on American Idol, which starts in January.

Jon Gosselin's Girlfriend Brawls with Taco Bell

Photo Courtesy - Todd Williamson/WireImage(LEMOYNE, Pa.) -- Did the Tex-Mex king poison his eight children? Did an XXL-sized crispy chalupa not crunch as advertised? No, the father of the year turned down-and-out dad is peeved simply because employees at a Lemoyne, Pa., Taco Bell recognized Jon Gosselin and his girlfriend, Ellen Ross, and attempted to photograph them during a grub run through the fast food chain's drive-thru window.

Gosselin is, of course, the dad made famous by TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8. But for Ross, who's been dating Gosselin for months, the fact he once headlined a highly-rated cable television show doesn't make him different from the average Joe. She filed a complaint with Taco Bell demanding an employee of the Lemoyne franchise be fired for trying to take a photograph of the couple on Oct. 18.

"My boyfriend (Jon Gosselin from the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8) and I came through to purchase dinner," Ross said in the complaint, which was obtained first by the blog thesagewayexpress.blogspot.com and then RadarOnline.com.

A source familiar with the incident confirmed to ABCNews.com the complaint published by RadarOnline was the one Ross filed with Taco Bell. The source added that Ross and others in the neighborhood "have had many non-Gosselin related issues with that Taco Bell" and that Ross "never intended for the complaint to get out."

David Cassidy Busted for DUI

Photo Courtesy - Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images(FORT PIERCE, Fla.) -- Former Partridge Family star David Cassidy was arrested for DUI Wednesday night in Fort Pierce, Florida, reports WPBF. The 60-year-old Cassidy was pulled over after cops spotted him weaving along the road. He told officers he had a glass of wine at lunch before taking a Hydrocodone pill.  He failed several field tests before cops hauled him to jail.  Authorities also found a half-empty bottle of bourbon in his car.

Cassidy, who was on his way home from a funeral at the time, claims he was not drunk, reports TMZ.com.  He also says the breathalyzer tests he took were not correctly measured.  His spokeswoman backed Cassidy by saying he took a pill to cope with back pain and he was just tired from the funeral, adding, "He would never jeopardize anyone on the road and he would not have been driving had he not had to go to a funeral...he's never been arrested in his life before for anything."

Michael Jackson's Cirque du Soleil Show to Tour Arenas Next October

Photo Courtesy - Cirque du Soleil [dot] com(MONTREAL) -- Michael Jackson's music and moves will live on, thanks to Cirque du Soleil. The Canadian entertainment company, famous for its acrobatic, visually-stunning shows like O and Wintuk, will put its own spin on the King of Pop's music and choreography with Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, a show that will begin touring arenas in October of 2011.  The production, which will feature 60 international performers, has the full cooperation of Jackson's estate.

Jamie King, who worked as Madonna's creative director for the past 12 years, will write and direct the show.  He's also directed shows for Rihanna, Celine Dion, Britney Spears and Jackson himself -- he worked with him on the Dangerous tour.

King says of Immortal, "It's very much a collaboration -- a marriage, if you will -- of a rock-pop spectacle, and Cirque.  So if you can imagine those two worlds meeting, what we have is this great, magical experience."

King says that the show will be set at Neverland, and focus on "The Giving Tree" -- an actual oak tree on the property that Jackson found particularly inspiring.  The 90-minute show will feature all of Jackson's hits, with his original lead vocals, but the music will likely be remixed and mashed-up, just like the music in another Cirque show, The Beatles: Love.

In addition, King says, the show will feature unreleased Michael Jackson songs that he has exclusive access to.  King explains, "Michael is really our narrator -- the lyrics of his songs, I put them in an order that really guides us through, and on, this journey."

The scheduled 30-city tour is set to begin Oct. 2, 2011 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, and will tour Canada before hitting the U.S. with a Seattle debut on Nov. 9, 2011. Other dates announced will include the Honda Center in Anaheim on Jan. 24, Los Angeles' Staples Center on Jan. 27, and New York City's Madison Square Garden on April 3. Tickets go on sale beginning Saturday, Nov. 6.
