Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(KABUL, Afghanistan) -- Angelina Jolie was in Kabul, Afghanistan on Wednesday to meet with former refugees who've returned to the country and are trying to rebuild their lives.

The actress, who's an ambassador for the United Nations' refugee agency, said, "It is clear traveling through the country that what needs to be done is a very focused approach on these places of return...and that means not just putting a shelter up but making sure there's water, making sure there's job opportunities, making sure there's a school for the children, and medical."

Jolie also visited with children in a village who will attend a school that she helped build. Jolie is calling upon other countries to assist not only the former refugees who've returned to Afghanistan, but also the refugees who've been displaced by the political conflict in Libya.
