Angus T. Jones Clarifies "Two and a Half" Men Comments

David Livingston/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- After calling his CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men "filth" in a video interview that quickly went viral, Angus T. Jones on Tuesday sought to clarify his comments with a statement obtained by several media outlets, including The Hollywood Reporter.

The 19-year-old, who plays Jake Harper, says, "Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family."

Calling his time on the show "one of the most significant experiences in my life to date," he thanks series creator Chuck Lorre and the show's producers, and notes that the cast and crew have had a positive impact on his life.

The statement concludes, "I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that."

Jones disparaged Two and a Half Men in a video posted online by Forerunner Chronicles in which he details his religious awakening.
