Appeals Court Kicks Lopez Dispute Out of Public Court System

Kevin Winter/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- An appeals court in California says a dispute between pop star and American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and her first husband should be handled through arbitration and not in the public court system.

Lopez and her first husband, Ojani Noa, have been in a court battle for nearly two years over his plans to use eleven hours of home video featuring him and Lopez in a movie.

The 42-year-old singer announced the end of her seven year marriage to third husband Marc Anthony earlier this month.
