Are Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller BFFs?

ROBYN BECK/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- They may not be on his list of goddesses, but Charlie Sheen's ex-wives still have enough in common to strike up a friendship.  Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards have become pals, reports RadarOnline.com.  An insider said the pair chats "quite frequently" and they've even talked about getting their kids together for some play dates.  Mueller and Richards had planned to meet last week before Mueller fell off the wagon and wound up in rehab.

The source said, "Brooke and Denise talk quite frequently. It was Denise's idea to get together for dinner with Brooke with their children. Denise's children with Charlie, Sam and Lola, have spent time in the past with their half-siblings, Bob and Max.  Denise wants all the children to hang out together."

Richards is standing by Mueller, despite her recent problems.  The insider said, "Denise has reached out to Brooke since her relapse to offer her support.  Denise wants to have the girls spend time with their brothers, when she is assured that Brooke is sober, and wants it be a fun outing for everyone, with no drama.  It's about the kids forming a bond, and nothing else."
