Are Kate Hudson, Matthew Bellamy Breaking Off Their Engagement?

Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Kate Hudson and her fiancé, Matthew Bellamy of the British rock band Muse, may be calling it quits after three years together.

Sources tell Us Weekly that Hudson, 34 and Bellamy, 35, have been having problems lately and are rethinking their engagement.

"They realized they are in different places in their lives. They grew apart," one insider tells the magazine.

Another source adds, "It's not good right now. They're taking time apart to try to make things work."

According to Us, the two have not been photographed together in a while. Last month, Hudson showed up solo at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah where she was promoting her new film Wish I Was Here, with co-star and director Zac Braff.

The report says Hudson was also without a date, or her engagement ring, at Bulgari's Decades of Glamour event in West Hollywood this past Tuesday.

However, another source notes that the couple isn't pulling the plug on the relationship just yet. The insider tells Us, "Matt loves Kate...immensely, so hopefully they can work through it."

The couple began dating in 2010 and got engaged a year later. They have a 2-year-old son. Hudson also has a 10-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
