"Arrested Development " Creator Acknowledges Working on Movie

Photo by Jesse Grant/Getty Images for Netflix(NEW YORK) -- Arrested Development fans have reason to be excited, after the show's creator acknowledged working on a movie based on the show's Bluth family.

According to Rolling Stone, creator Mitch Hurwitz says that "everybody seems really into it and really eager to make a movie."

The movie has not yet received a green light, but after the show made a much-discussed return with a Netflix-only fourth season, media attention is still high.

The fourth season of Arrested Development did disappoint some fans, however, as each episode focused largely on one character and scenes were often shown from a number of different perspectives. Hurwitz claims that the slow development of the show was partially due to attempting something that had not been done before, comparing the early episodes to early chapters of a book.

Hurwitz also told Rolling Stone that after a potential Arrested Development movie, he would like to make another season of the television show.
