Ben Affleck, Christian Bale Show Support for BatKid

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- The fan club for BatKid is still growing.

Following the epic Make-a-Wish BatKid event, two on-screen Batmans, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck, made statements in support of the tiniest Batman to ever fight crime.

Affleck, who will play Batman in the upcoming superhero saga Batman vs. Superman, tweeted on Saturday: "Batkid. Best Batman ever."

Christian Bale, who played the iconic superhero for the last three Batman movies, told Vulture he hadn't heard about the event until it was well underway.

"I've never been on Twitter, but how great a thing that it can create something like that! I mean, wonderful," Bale told Vulture. " This little kid, oh my God — what a wonderful day for the little fella! It's just fantastic, seeing all those people who were out there to support it."
