(LOS ANGELES) -- It probably won't interfere with Batman's crimefighting ability, but director Kevin Smith says the Batsuit that his pal Ben Affleck will be sporting for the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie has no nipples.
Smith says in the latest episode of his podcast, Hollywood Babble-On, "I saw the Batman costume. More than that I saw a picture of Affleck in the costume."
"You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this Matrix, X-Men black armor thing. There wasn't a single nipple on this fricking suit," Smith quipped, referring to the universally-flamed Bat-nipples worn by George Clooney in Batman Forever.
The writer/director -- and comic fanboy -- said, "I'm already a flag waver for this movie, but the costume, it blew my mind."
Batman vs. Superman, directed by Zack Snyder and starring Affleck and Henry Cavill, will hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
