Big Brother Star Loses Job After Using Racial Slur on Internet Feed

CBS(LOS ANGELES) -- When GinaMarie Zimmerman leaves the Big Brother house this summer, she'll have to search for a new job.

The contestant on the CBS reality series has been fired from her position as pageant coordinator for East Coast USA Pageant Inc., due to her use of the N-word on the Big Brother Internet feed.

The East Coast USA Pageant says in a statement that it has been "left in disbelief and shock" that Zimmerman, whom it employed for five years, could "display such acts of hate and racism."

The organization adds, "We are actually thankful that this show let us see GinaMarie for who she truly is as we would never want her to be a role model to our future contestants."

On the Big Brother Internet feed, the 32-year-old Zimmerman reportedly referred to welfare as "n***** insurance."

The Big Brother controversy doesn't end there. Another current contestant, 22-year-old college student Aaryn Gries, has been released by her modeling agency for similar reasons. She reportedly called a gay contestant "queer" and told an Asian contestant to "shut up and go make some rice."

The modeling agency, Zephyr Talent, writes on its Facebook page, "While we disagree with Aaryn’s statements, we defend her right to make them; however, due to their direct conflict with many of the values we hold at Zephyr, we cannot continue to allow her to represent our company, nor do we feel comfortable representing her."

Earlier this week, CBS told TMZ that it found several statements made by contestants on the Internet feed "offensive," and that at times the houseguests "reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone."
