(LOS ANGELES) -- Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and the rest of the cast of Breaking Bad passed on limos and instead arrived Wednesday night at the L.A. premiere of the show’s upcoming final season in the RV featured in the AMC series.
The Hollywood Reporter says Paul, who plays Jesse, was behind the wheel of the RV as it arrived on the Sony lot.
Cranston put the RV to good use. The actor raised more than $400,000 for The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by staging a contest in which donors had a chance to win a trip to the premiere in the RV.
As for what fans can expect from the show’s final eight episodes, The Hollywood Reporter says the cast was tightlipped but Cranston did offer a hint about his character, Walter, saying, “He lives moment to moment. He doesn’t have the luxury of retrospective thought. He’s trying to stay alive.”
RJ Mitte, who plays Walt Jr., says fans will not be disappointed by the ending.
“There will be no loopholes. There will be no endings that are dreams," Mitte says, adding, “I think the fans are going to love it. I think everyone is going to react to it very well.”
Breaking Bad returns on Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
