Charlie Sheen Says He's Working the Kinks Out of His Live Show

Jeff Vespa/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Charlie Sheen admits his live performance is still a work in progress, following a much-criticized concert in Detroit on Saturday and another show the following night in Chicago that earned more favorable reviews.

Speaking to E! News, Sheen said, "There's a couple things here I've got to [expletive] work out."  He continued, "I don't know if I start the show alone and it turns into this [a Q&A format] or I just stay with this 'cause it's [expletive] working and we'll [expletive] return to it if I don't."

Sheen incorporated a question-and-answer session, handled by an interviewer, into his Chicago concert after sticking to his usual rants the previous night in Detroit and drawing boos from a restless audience in the process, half of whom walked out before the show ended.

Sheen said of the format change, "Yeah, we talked about it on the bus coming back, tons of input, then when I got back to the hotel and I wrote, we started writing, just to get some thoughts out, some feelings out, just some stuff that would be interesting, just stories, you know, themes, whatever, just bullet points."

Sheen's tour, dubbed My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option, will continue in Cleveland on Tuesday.
