(PEBBLE BEACH, Calif.) -- Clint Eastwood sprang into action in a real life and death situation on Wednesday.
The actor reportedly performed the Heimlich maneuver when golfing tournament director Steve John choked on an appetizer at a Pebble Beach party.
John says Eastwood saved his life.
"Looked at Clint and with the panicked look on my face and Clint recognized that I was not in a good situation and he grabbed my shoulder and flipped me around and did the Heimlich maneuver on me for probably three different times," John said.
"He certainly made my day," John added.
