'Dancing with the Stars' Recap: Gladys Knight Goes Home

ABC/ADAM TAYLOR(LOS ANGELES) -- It was "good night" for Gladys Knight on Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night.

The Motown legend and her pro partner, Tristan MacManus, were eliminated from the ABC competition after losing a "dance duel" to Disney actor Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower.

After both couples fell into the bottom two, they were asked to perform the jive simultaneously. Carrie Ann Inaba voted to save Knight, but both Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli opted to keep Fegan.

Knight told the crowd she was "amazed at this journey. It was absolutely extraordinary, I learned so many things, found so many friends and family, and I'm just overjoyed."

Knight was the lowest-scoring celebrity on Monday's performance show after dancing the rumba and earning a quick elimination during a cha cha cha marathon.

The musical guests on Tuesday's results show were Boyz II Men, who performed their latest single "One More Dance," and Natasha Bedingfield, who sang "Wild Horses." Bedingfield's performance came during the "spotlight performance" featuring a 17-year-old female ballet dancer who overcame a tough childhood after she was born in Sierra Leone.

Next Monday night, the seven remaining stars will return to the ballroom for a classical music-themed performance show.
