(LOS ANGELES) -- Dancing with the Stars will salute "American icons" Monday night, when it will hold its semifinals round.
Each of the five remaining couples will perform two dances set to music by famous American artists. One couple will be eliminated at night's end.
Amy Purdy repeatedly used the word "surreal" while describing to ABC News Radio how it feels to have advanced to the semis. The 2014 Paralympian, who's partnered with Derek Hough, said, "There's been two really surreal moments, which is first, walking off...from Sochi, stepping onto the set. That was insanely surreal. And then to know how far we've made it is really surreal."
Kenny Ortega, the High School Musical director who was a creative partner of Michael Jackson, will serve as guest judge alongside Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the pro partner of Meryl Davis, calls Ortega a "brilliant" and "artistic" mind who is more than qualified to evaluate the couples.
You can catch all of the semifinals action Monday night on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
