Did a Boston TV Station Fake the Fourth?

Comstock/Thinkstock(BOSTON) -- Some viewers are taking a Boston TV station to task over its coverage of the city's Fourth of July fireworks telecast.

Sharp-eyed viewers noted that the city's annual fireworks display wouldn't be visible from some of the city's landmarks, yet the rockets' red glare was seen exploding right over them during the local CBS telecast.

Now the show's producer is coming clean, admitting to the Boston Globe he digitally superimposed the fireworks over footage of the landmarks that was previously shot.
