Did Jennifer Aniston Snag Brad Pitt's Sperm in Divorce Settlement?

Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Hollywood divorces are notoriously headline-grabbing, likely because of all the assets that can swap hands when super-rich celebrities split.  But if New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd is to be believed, Jennifer Aniston's 2005 divorce settlement from her ex Brad Pitt may have broken the bank -- the sperm bank.

In a memorial article about Dowd's late friend Sue Mengers, Aniston's former super-agent, Dowd recalls, "After Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie, Mengers told me that she advised her beloved Jen to ask Brad for some of his sperm."

It's not known if Aniston asked, or if Pitt complied.  She's currently childless, and with actor Justin Theroux.  Pitt's genes have been passed on, however, to twins he fathered with Jolie.
