Faye Dunaway Deflects Eviction Claims

Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Faye Dunaway's landlord claims she is being evicted, but the Mommie Dearest star begs to differ.

In response to reports that she was being evicted from her Upper East Side, New York City apartment, the 70-year-old told The New York Times, "I have not been evicted. I have chosen to leave because of the state of the apartment, and also because I am spending less and less time in New York."

She added that she left because the landlord "refused to paint the house, and bugs were everywhere."
