(NEW YORK) -- HBO premiered the trailer for season four of Game of Thrones Sunday night, which returns this spring.
The trailer, which clocks in at 1 minute and 44 seconds, gives fans a peek at nearly every major character in the sprawling fantasy drama, and introduces at least one new one as well.
In the trailer, viewers see how things are going in King's Landing: there are scenes of King Joffrey's wedding, as well as shots of his uncle, Tyrion, being led away in handcuffs.
"I don't think I'm talking my way out of this one," says the dwarf.
We also see Tyrion's brother Jamie being fitted for a new hand to replace the one that was chopped off last season. In addition, we get our first glimpse of new character Prince Oberon, known as The Red Viper, who will figure heavily into the plot in the new season.
"Tell your father I'm here," Oberon says to Tyrion menacingly. "Tell him the Lannisters aren't the only ones who pay their debts."
Across the Narrow Sea, we see Daenerys and Ser Jorah Mormont, discussing how they should proceed now that she's conquered the city of Yunkai.
"They have a choice. They can live in my new world, or they can die in their old one," snarls Dani.
In the North and elsewhere, we see Jon Snow, Ygritte and the Wildings, as well as glimpses of Stannis, Davos, Arya Stark, Theon, Melisandre, and, of course, plenty of scenes of battles, sword fights, beheadings and violence -- everything we've come to expect from life in the Seven Kingdoms. As Tyrion puts it, "If you want justice, you've come to the wrong place."
Game of Thrones season four premieres April 6 on HBO.
